About the Role:
Our client is seeking a qualified and experienced Laser Skin Therapist to join their professional dermatology and aesthetics team in Hargeisa, Somaliland. The ideal candidate will be skilled in performing a range of laser and non-invasive skin treatments, ensuring high standards of safety, precision, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Laser & Skin Treatments
- Perform aesthetic laser procedures including:
- Laser Hair Removal (LHR)
- Laser Skin Rejuvenation (Q-switched, fractional, CO₂, etc.)
- Pigmentation reduction
- Acne and scar treatments
- Tattoo removal (where applicable)
- Assist dermatologists with energy-based or injectable treatments.
- Monitor treatment responses and adjust parameters safely.
- Maintain hygiene, safety, and pre/post-care standards.
- Client Consultation & Education
- Conduct skin analysis and patch tests to recommend appropriate treatments.
- Educate clients on treatment protocols, outcomes, and post-care.
- Maintain accurate client records, consent forms, and follow-ups.
- Operational & Administrative Duties
- Calibrate and maintain laser equipment per manufacturer guidelines.
- Ensure treatment rooms are clean, stocked, and compliant with clinic standards.
- Manage consumables and report stock needs to the Clinic Manager.
- Uphold all health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma or Certification in Laser Therapy, Aesthetic Cosmetology, or Beauty Therapy.
- Valid license or training certification for laser use (per local regulations).
- Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in an aesthetic or dermatology clinic.
- Knowledge of skin types (Fitzpatrick scale) and laser safety protocols.
