Mechanic (Diesel Machines)

About the Role:

Our client is seeking a qualified Diesel Mechanic to maintain and repair heavy-duty diesel engines and equipment. The ideal candidate should have solid technical knowledge of diesel-powered vehicles, construction machinery, and agricultural equipment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines and heavy machinery.
2. Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment.
3. Identify mechanical faults and recommend corrective actions.
4. Maintain accurate service and repair records.
5. Ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

1. Diploma or Certificate in Automotive Engineering or related field.
2. Minimum 3 years’ hands-on experience in diesel mechanics.
3. Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
4. Experience with generators, tractors, or heavy equipment is an advantage.
5. Ability to work under minimal supervision.
