About the Role:
Our client, a reputable restaurant in Lang’ata, is seeking to hire a skilled and experienced Chef to oversee kitchen operations. The ideal candidate should be passionate about food, highly organized, and able to deliver exceptional quality in every dish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, cook, and present meals to the highest standards.
- Plan and update menus based on customer preferences and seasonal availability.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, food safety, and kitchen sanitation standards.
- Supervise kitchen staff and ensure efficient workflow.
- Manage inventory, portion control, and minimize waste.
- Maintain a clean and well-organized kitchen at all times.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Chef in a busy restaurant or hotel.
- Diploma or Certificate in Culinary Arts or Food Production.
- Strong knowledge of both local and international cuisines.
- Excellent leadership and multitasking abilities.
- Creativity, discipline, and a commitment to quality service.
