About the Role:

Our client, a reputable restaurant in Lang’ata, is seeking to hire a skilled and experienced Chef to oversee kitchen operations. The ideal candidate should be passionate about food, highly organized, and able to deliver exceptional quality in every dish.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare, cook, and present meals to the highest standards.
2. Plan and update menus based on customer preferences and seasonal availability.
3. Ensure compliance with hygiene, food safety, and kitchen sanitation standards.
4. Supervise kitchen staff and ensure efficient workflow.
5. Manage inventory, portion control, and minimize waste.
6. Maintain a clean and well-organized kitchen at all times.

Qualifications & Requirements:

1. Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Chef in a busy restaurant or hotel.
2. Diploma or Certificate in Culinary Arts or Food Production.
3. Strong knowledge of both local and international cuisines.
4. Excellent leadership and multitasking abilities.
5. Creativity, discipline, and a commitment to quality service.
