Job Description

We are recruiting on behalf of our client in the wellness and healthcare industry for a detail-oriented and highly organized Accountant to support the organization's financial operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, managing statutory compliance, and supporting sound financial management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate accounting records and financial transactions.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable.
  • Perform bank and account reconciliations.
  • Prepare and process payroll where applicable.
  • Ensure timely filing of statutory returns including PAYE, VAT, and NSSF.
  • Maintain the general ledger and financial documentation.
  • Assist in budgeting and financial forecasting.
  • Support internal and external audits.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
  • CPA Part II or above (CPA(K) will be an added advantage).
  • Minimum of 2 years' accounting experience.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • High level of integrity and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
