A growing hospitality establishment in Kileleshwa, Nairobi is looking for an Assistant Restaurant Supervisor to support the Supervisor and management team in coordinating daily restaurant operations.
The successful candidate will play a hands-on role in supporting staff, maintaining service standards and ensuring a positive customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in supervising restaurant staff during daily operations.
- Support coordination between the service and kitchen teams.
- Ensure customers receive friendly and efficient service.
- Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, grooming and conduct.
- Assist with managing customer complaints and service concerns.
- Support restaurant cleanliness, hygiene and general presentation.
- Help monitor stock levels and report shortages.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures.
- Support implementation of operational procedures and service standards.
- Monitor service flow and help resolve operational challenges.
- Support the Supervisor in assigning duties and coordinating staff.
- Assist in monitoring employee performance and discipline.
- Escalate operational and customer-service issues to the Supervisor.
- Step in for the Supervisor when required.

- Have previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, food-service or hospitality environment.
- Have good customer-service and communication skills.
