Bartender

About the Role:

Our client, a reputable hotel in Langata, is urgently seeking to hire a Bartender to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks, creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests, and ensuring high standards of service.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests.
2. Ensure the bar area is clean, well-stocked, and organized at all times.
3. Interact with customers, take orders, and provide excellent service.
4. Maintain proper cash handling and billing procedures.
5. Observe responsible alcohol service and comply with all licensing laws.
6. Assist in stock management and report shortages when necessary.

Requirements:

1. Must be residing in or around Langata (this is mandatory).
2. Previous experience as a bartender in a busy hotel, restaurant, or bar is an added advantage.
3. Excellent customer service and communication skills.
4. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
5. Professional, reliable, and well-groomed.
