Our client is urgently seeking an experienced Cook – Chinese Cuisine to join their team in Nairobi.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing authentic and high-quality Chinese dishes while maintaining excellent standards of food quality, hygiene and kitchen organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of Chinese cuisine to a high standard.
- Follow recipes and maintain consistency in taste, presentation and quality.
- Prepare ingredients, sauces and accompaniments as required.
- Ensure proper food handling, storage and kitchen hygiene.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and cooking equipment.
- Manage ingredients efficiently and minimize food wastage.
- Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and service.
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene.
- Support menu preparation and suggest improvements where appropriate.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Cook/Chef specializing in Chinese cuisine.
- Strong knowledge of Chinese cooking techniques, ingredients and dishes.
- Ability to prepare a variety of Chinese meals.
- Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment.
- Reliable, disciplined and able to start work early next week.
- Culinary training/certification will be an added advantage.

💰 Salary
KSh 35,000 – 40,000 per month, depending on experience and suitability.
