This is a strategic commercial leadership opportunity for a highly connected and commercially driven professional with proven experience in originating, developing, and closing large-scale ICT infrastructure, ELV, Smart Building, Hospitality Technology, or Enterprise Technology projects.
The successful candidate will engage directly with hotel owners, real estate developers, consultants, contractors, healthcare institutions, educational organizations, corporate clients, and project stakeholders to identify opportunities before formal tendering stages and position the company as a preferred technology solutions partner.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Business Development
- Identify, originate, and pursue new business opportunities across hospitality, healthcare, education, commercial real estate, mixed-use developments, mining, and corporate sectors.
- Develop and implement commercial strategies that drive sustainable revenue growth.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities across regional markets.
- Position the company early in project lifecycles to maximize conversion opportunities.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
Build and maintain strategic relationships with:
- Property Developers
- Hotel Owners & Operators
- Architects
- Consultants
- Engineers
- Contractors
- Project Managers
- Facilities Directors
Corporate Decision-Makers
Conduct discovery meetings, solution workshops, and executive presentations.
- Understand clients' commercial, operational, and technical requirements to propose value-driven technology solutions.
Solution Development & Commercial Strategy
- Collaborate with engineering and pre-sales teams to develop tailored ICT and ELV solutions.
- Participate in solution design reviews and technology strategy discussions.
- Develop commercial strategies that improve win rates and profitability.
- Support bid qualification and strategic go/no-go decisions.
Tender & Proposal Management
- Lead the qualification of new opportunities and tender strategies.
- Coordinate proposal preparation and submission.
- Review commercial terms, contracts, and pricing structures.
- Lead negotiations through to project award and contract execution.
Market Development
Develop and expand relationships within:
- Hospitality Industry
- Real Estate Development
- Healthcare Institutions
- Educational Institutions
- Construction Sector
- Corporate Organizations
- International Brands
Government & Institutional Projects
Represent the company at industry conferences, exhibitions, networking forums, and strategic business events.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, Engineering, Telecommunications, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in commercial management, business development, enterprise technology sales, or project sales.
- Proven success selling complex ICT, ELV, Smart Building, Enterprise Infrastructure, or Construction Technology solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to manage long sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
- Strong commercial negotiation, presentation, and proposal development skills.
- Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Willingness to travel extensively across East, West, and Southern Africa.
