We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a company operating in the electrical engineering and power solutions sector, for a motivated, ambitious, and technically competent Graduate/Junior Electrical Engineer to join its Technical Services Department.
The successful candidate will support technical operations, engineering assignments, equipment design, technical documentation, and project-related activities while gaining practical industry experience.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Support the preparation and review of electrical engineering designs, drawings, and technical specifications.
- Assist in the design, selection, and technical evaluation of transformers, switchgear, Ring Main Units (RMUs), LV panels, and other electrical equipment.
- Provide technical support to production, projects, and technical service teams.
- Assist in interpreting electrical drawings, schematics, and engineering specifications.
- Participate in equipment inspections, testing, troubleshooting, and technical assessments.
- Support the preparation of technical proposals, reports, bills of quantities, and project documentation.
- Coordinate with production, project, and other technical teams to ensure compliance with engineering requirements.
- Conduct technical research and provide recommendations for product improvement, operational efficiency, and cost optimisation.
- Undertake other engineering assignments as may be assigned by the department.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
- Registered as a Graduate Engineer with the Engineers Board of Kenya (EBK), or eligible for registration.
- Approximately 0–2 years of relevant experience. Fresh graduates with strong technical aptitude may be considered.
- Basic knowledge of electrical equipment, power systems, electrical drawings, and engineering design.
- Familiarity with engineering design software such as AutoCAD, ETAP, or other relevant applications will be an added advantage.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and technical report-writing skills.
- Strong technical aptitude and willingness to develop practical engineering skills.
- Good communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
- Ability to progressively take ownership of assigned tasks.
- Professional conduct, discipline, initiative, and accountability.
