Job Description

The Grants & Funding Officer will be responsible for managing donor-funded grants, ensuring compliance, coordinating reporting, and supporting partners to deliver high-quality education and literacy programs.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage grant compliance, donor deliverables, and reporting schedules
  • Prepare and submit high-quality narrative and financial reports to donors
  • Establish and maintain centralized grant reporting and documentation systems
  • Track progress against grant deliverables and identify risks or delays
  • Lead sub-grant and partner management processes, including RFAs, due diligence, agreements, and monitoring
  • Provide compliance training and technical support to internal teams and partners
  • Coordinate audit preparations and ensure grants remain audit-ready
  • Identify compliance risks and support continuous improvement of grant management systems

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Development Studies, Education, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in grants management and donor compliance
  • Proven experience managing donor-funded projects and sub-grants, preferably in education or literacy programs
  • Strong experience in donor reporting, audits, and partner capacity building
  • High proficiency in MS Office and grant management systems
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
