About the Role

We are seeking skilled and passionate cooks to join our client’s restaurant branches in Nairobi. The ideal candidate is someone with prior experience in a busy restaurant kitchen, ready to deliver quality meals and contribute to a vibrant team. Key Responsibilities

1. Prepare and cook a variety of meals as per the restaurant’s menu and standards.
2. Ensure all food is prepared in a timely and hygienic manner.
3. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment at all times.
4. Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management.
5. Follow all health and safety regulations.
6. Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff and front-of-house team.
7. Assist with menu planning and suggest improvements where necessary.
8. Ensure proper storage of food items and minimize wastage.

Requirements

1. Proven experience working as a cook in a restaurant (minimum 1 year preferred).
2. Good knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
3. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy kitchen.
4. Excellent hygiene and food safety practices.
5. Team player with good communication skills.
6. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
7. Certificate/Diploma in Food Production or related field is an added advantage.
