Job Description

We are hiring on behalf of our client, a leading restaurant chain in Nairobi, for a Restaurant Supervisor (Shift Leader).

The ideal candidate should be experienced in supervising restaurant operations during assigned shifts while ensuring smooth workflow, excellent customer service, and proper staff coordination within a fast-paced restaurant environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise restaurant staff during assigned shifts
  • Ensure smooth daily restaurant operations and service delivery
  • Monitor staff attendance, grooming, and performance
  • Support customer service and resolve customer concerns promptly
  • Ensure compliance with hygiene and operational standards
  • Coordinate food service and communication between departments
  • Assist in stock monitoring and operational reporting
  • Support implementation of company procedures and service standards
  • Train and guide junior staff where necessary

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Diploma in Hospitality Management or related field
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar supervisory role within a busy restaurant
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage shift operations effectively
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
