We are hiring on behalf of our client, a leading restaurant chain in Nairobi, for a Restaurant Supervisor (Shift Leader).
The ideal candidate should be experienced in supervising restaurant operations during assigned shifts while ensuring smooth workflow, excellent customer service, and proper staff coordination within a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise restaurant staff during assigned shifts
- Ensure smooth daily restaurant operations and service delivery
- Monitor staff attendance, grooming, and performance
- Support customer service and resolve customer concerns promptly
- Ensure compliance with hygiene and operational standards
- Coordinate food service and communication between departments
- Assist in stock monitoring and operational reporting
- Support implementation of company procedures and service standards
- Train and guide junior staff where necessary
Requirements & Qualifications
- Diploma in Hospitality Management or related field
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar supervisory role within a busy restaurant
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage shift operations effectively
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
