Sales Extension Officer Role

Our client is seeking to recruit a Sales Extension Officer to support sales growth while providing technical support and training to farmers.

The ideal candidate will promote products and services, build strong customer relationships, and help farmers improve productivity and quality using modern agricultural practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Initiate sales contacts and promote products and services
• Grow and maintain relationships with existing clients
• Provide excellent customer service to farmers and clients

• Conduct farm visits and train farmers on:

  • Animal husbandry (calf, chick, piglet rearing)
  • Feeding and hygiene practices
  • Forage preservation
  • Sustainable farming and soil management
• Support farmers to improve production and product quality

Qualifications & Requirements

• KCSE Certificate (minimum C-) or equivalent
• Diploma in Dairy Science & Technology, Animal Health, Agriculture, or related field
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
• Valid accident-free motorcycle riding license
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Customer-focused with strong relationship-building skills
