Our client, a growing auto spares shop, is looking to hire a reliable and customer-focused Shop Attendant to support day-to-day shop operations and ensure customers receive efficient service.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend to customers and understand their auto spares requirements.
- Assist customers in identifying and selecting the appropriate spare parts.
- Receive, arrange, and issue stock as required.
- Maintain an organised and clean shop environment.
- Process sales and payments accurately.
- Operate the POS system and maintain accurate sales records.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages or discrepancies.
- Support stock taking and reconciliation.
- Handle customer enquiries professionally.
- Perform other shop-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a shop attendant, sales, or retail role is preferred.
- Knowledge of auto spare parts is an added advantage.
- Experience using a POS system is an added advantage.
- Good customer service and communication skills.
- Honest, reliable, and responsible.
- Good numeracy and basic record-keeping skills.
- Ability to work in a busy retail environment.
- Must be willing to work in Githurai.
