The Technical Sales Representative promotes baking products and solutions, delivers technical support to customers, and drives sales growth. This role combines hands-on baking expertise with strong customer engagement and frequent travel to client locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and sell baking products to bakeries and food production clients
- Provide technical guidance and live demonstrations on baking processes and product usage
- Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships
- Identify new business opportunities and grow existing accounts
- Meet and exceed monthly sales targets
- Prepare sales reports and maintain accurate customer records
- Travel regularly to client sites and markets
Requirements
- Certificate in Baking Technology from a recognized training institute
(strong emphasis on fine baking of cakes, pastries, and bread)
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a thriving baking environment
- Strong understanding of baking processes and product applications
- Valid Driving Licence
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
Remuneration
- Commission: 1% of paid sales (net of VAT) per month
- Earning Potential: Unlimited, based on performance
