Our client, a busy restaurant in Kileleshwa, Nairobi, is looking for two friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Waiters/Waitresses to join their service team.
The successful candidates will be responsible for providing efficient and professional service while ensuring customers have a positive dining experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and attend to customers professionally.
- Present menus and explain available food and beverage options.
- Take customer orders accurately.
- Communicate orders clearly to the kitchen and cashier.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally.
- Check on customers to ensure satisfaction.
- Respond to customer requests and concerns appropriately.
- Clear and reset tables promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of service areas.
- Assist with opening and closing duties.
- Support the team during busy service periods.
- Follow restaurant hygiene, service, and customer-care standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a waiter/waitress or in a similar hospitality role is preferred.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Friendly, energetic, and professional personality.
- Good listening and order-taking skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Good knowledge of restaurant hygiene and service standards.
- Good personal presentation.
- Team-oriented and reliable.
- Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays where required.
